Two HIV and AIDS Awareness sessions were conducted on 26th and 27th March 2012 at the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) in Palaly, Jaffna. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Chaminda Dodampagamage, from the National STD / AIDS Control Programme of the Ministry of Health and was supported by John Keells master trainer Pandula Padmanath of JMSL. 259 airmen, cadets, and officers were educated on HIV and AIDS through this initiative.
John Keells Foundation (JKF) in collaboration with SLAF is hosting awareness programmes of this nature to educate air men and women on the prevention of HIV and AIDS through awareness creation.
